A picture of the main theme if the magazinze with a similar colour scheme to the picture is usually used in magazines about games. The pictures tend to be across the whole page and also in smaller sizes with more incorporated to make for an interesting cover.
What do the colours tend to look like?
The colours tend to be brighter in the game magazines since there is a target audienc that can be quite young. They also relate to the main theme of the magazine as well. Colours in sport magazines tend to be darker and plainer since there is an older target audience.
The colours tend to predominantaly green.
A colour that features in my magazine covers is Burgundy.
